Forums - Gaming - Game Franchises That Changed so Much to Worst

Tomb Raider - I'm sincerely tired of elaborating what's so wrong with the Reboot, so I'll just leave it at "once great IP turned to utter shit".

Resident evil. assassin's creed.
But the most letdown of all franchises without a doubt is no other than Sonic.
Could it become better? Well it's up to sonic team.

Can't think of a single one. Sure Arcania (Gothic 4) was a piece of garbage that didn't deserve the name but it was developed by different people and it's not like there will be more games like this. The Gothic series ended with 3 and that's what I'm enjoying most to this day.

Spyro. I actually quite liked the Legend of Spyro series, but I'm not fond of Skylanders or his physical design nowadays.

Ratchet and Clank.

Sonic the thread.

Oh and Resident Evil - though, thats not nearly as bad.

Sonic The Hedgehog starting with Sonic Adventure.

"On my business card I am a corporate president. In my mind I am a game developer. But in my heart I am a gamer." - Satoru Iwata

I'm too young to know of one.

Resident Evil and, as much as it pains me to say it, Ratchet & Clank.

Final Fantasy for sure, X and XII were so mediocre then XIII...Ugh. Resident Evil, starting with 4. Although I enjoyed 5, even without the survivor horror elements. Army of Two also.
