All the games on Xbox One and PS4 up to this point are shiny versions of Xbox 360/PS3 games. The best looking game so far in my opinion is Ryse but that was originally a 360 game that was restarted and upgraded for the Xbox One.

It seems to me that Assassins Creed Unity is the first "current gen" game.

It is open world and has the detail that Ryse has. There are no loading times from what I have seen and the game has 4 player co-op. The game has had 4 years of development and is built for this gen only. The cut scenes look far better than AC4.

Ubisoft is killing it so far this year sales wise. Watchdogs was a hit, AC rogue sounds good for last gen owners, ACunity will be the biggest!

Is ACUnity the first true current gen game? I guess Sunset Overdrive and Drive Club could also fit the description but those are exclusives that may have started devolopment for its predecessors and converted to current gen

It's still going to be the same kind of gameplay you can experience on last generation's consoles.

The first "truly next gen game" will have innovative gameplay not featured on previous hardware.

As for visuals, I don't think Infamous Second Son is doable on Ps3. That's pretty much it though.

You really seems confused about this 'first real Next Gen Game'.  KillZone Shadow Fall already looked like a Next Gen Game, but it was a launch Game, a bit short, etc.   Infamous Second Son looks also incredible, maybe you forgot about it... for some odd reasons...

Driveclub also looks real, again, another real next gen game; can't get your doubts.  Far Cry 4 ?  Destiny ? COD : AW ? Ok, Uncharted4 will look even better, but this is obvious, every year you have better looking games from the best developers, it happens all generations, every time.  Can't really get the meaning of your Thread.  The same can be said about XBone, games will look better year after year.

first two seem like their predecessors but in a higher resolution. drive club maybe but it is just a racing gamr though.
