@Landguy - what tipped you off?

Getting me started on Halo is like mentioning Jews to Hitler, except that racism is bad and my uncontrollable hatred for Halo is completely justifiable.

It's probably in the Bible somewhere. Check Leviticus.

If I had to pick from the franchises listed, I would probably kill of Halo, though that's not to say that I dislike it; I had a jolly time playing Halo 3 with friends...
I I had to lick a Sony franchise, it would be Killzone I guess...
There are enough third party FPS's...
If I had to kill a Nintendo IP, it would be New Super Mario Bros...
I enjoyed the NSMB games, but I'm worries that we will so more of them in the future at the cost of any effort (even the slightest effort) to innovate...
If I were to kill a third party franchise, it would be Call of Duty. Another innovation killer...
As much as I loved Mass Effect, I think I would kill it just so that EA can't completely destroy it...
The first one is fantastic...
The DLC in ME2 isn't necessary to feel a sense of completeness...
With ME3, I actually felt like the game was incomplete without the DLC, and I'm not just referring to the ending...
It could only get worse in the future...

Have a nice day...

I think you were the first to say Mass Effect.  I guess that I am surprised more people didn't bring it up, after all the negative talk about the ending.

It is near the end of the end....

Nintendo - Mario
Sony - God of War (don't want to see it milked)
Microsoft - can't actually think of one...

No one's voted Mass Effect because it can't be killed, how can you kill that which is already dead?

Fucking EA

Kind of an unofficial tally of what people want to END:
Mario games = 11
Gears = 9
Halo = 17
God of War = 11
Killzone = 23
Fable = 11

There were 1-3 votes for a number of other titles...

Wow, the Killzone franchise has more haters than I thought!

I wouldn't kill any series because people enjoy them, big ones from each I care nothing about.

PlayStation - Gran Turismo (I am not a car guy and so many other series I like from Sony)
Xbox - Halo (because Gears of War makes my wife happy)
Nintendo - Wii Sports (I want Earthbound...and Star Fox...and Metroid)

If you ever get divorced from your wife, drop me a line

Ha! If so be ready to play a lot of Diablo, her current addiction.

Let's kill a franchise? Are we pretending to be Square Enix?

Ask stefl1504 for a sig, even if you don't need one.

I'll speak from the viewpoint of a Nintendo fan. I've been indifferent about the other exclusive franchises lately.

Now, wrecking the entire Mario franchise is a death sentence to Nintendo. Instead, why not be smart?

>DK Country: I want to free Retro. Seriously, I know they're good platformers, but give me a break!

>New Super Mario Brothers: Your (Mario) Maker is coming. Don't even bother.

>Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games: I doubt this is making any profit anymore.

>Mario Party (handheld): No, just, no.

>Yoshi's Island (Arzest reboot): Nope. Not falling for this again.

Mother, Golden Sun, F-Zero - Oh wait, they're dead already.
