I kinda hope it doesn't get huge. The rate at which this game is selling confuses me to no end.

It's an amazing game.  However it continues to annoy me how people continue to get it on console when the PC version is infinetly better and any PC can run it...

I thought I heard PS4 verision is suppose to be the same as the pc.  It's not limited like the previous generation console game was.

The PC version has unlimited worlds and unlimited player limit.  You can have litteral medievil battles...

I'm pretty sure that you can have unlimited worlds with the ps4 as well, not to sure about the player limit.  PC will likely have more flexibility in that department.

It was already annonced the worlds on x1  and ps4 are unlimited. I cannot say if it will immediately have unimited players. probably will be in an update if not there at launch.

They aren't.  They said they are 36 times bigger than last gen, and no you can't have more than 8-16 players.  Also there is just flat out less content, too many things missing for me to list them here.  Oh and on PC all texture packs and character skins are free.  There are also 1000's more of them.  Hell this website lets you customize your own:

I don't really see why anyone who owns a computer and wants to play minecraft would ever bother getting it on a console. The game could run on a toaster.

Minecraft PC version master race!

I can't imagine playing the game without Tekkit Lite :P

He just made an assumption based on the fact that it's been huge on everything else it has released on.

Oh and you know your sig? Do you not believe the PS4 will have sold 16 million by 31st of December? Since they announced 10 million at GC with four and a half months left I think it's a given.

I have a friend whose computer can't run Minecraft. It was a W7 computer and it got all F'd up, but he used a Windows XP recovery disk, so the graphics card and the CPU doesn't communicate properly anymore. Doesn't help that his computer sucked already though.

Hmmmm... the world size and online play is a big upgrade then. I am aware pc has the other things you mentioned, but the modding abilities on pc only is what it is like for every game. I do not deny minecraft on pc will offer the most, but to an average player, consoles offer a lot and the ps4 and x1 versions are better. For most gamers it is clearly all good.

Good news if your friends are only on PS4. I'll be sticking with the PC version.

4 ≈ One

with the limitations of ps3 and x360 versions. this is welcomed overall, but I already own it on pc, though a ps4 purchase isnt out of the question, its not on top of the buy list.

But why settle for less when you don't have to?  Any ol' PC, Mac, or linux box can run it.
