This Gamescom was bigger than E3, new Silent Hill by Kojima, awesome press conferences, TR2 exclusive, damn. E3 was weak.

Isn't Gamescom open to the pubic? That explains the attendance numbers. Open E3 up to the public, and it will have similar numbers. 

OT: E3 still has more overall game announcements, so it isn't bigger than E3. 

While the gamescom conferences wernt as grand as they were at e3.... the main announcements/megatons that everybody waits for were!

Although, i think the TR announcement was simply done now because, it either wasn't a thing back then or they were still negotiating the terms. Similarly with Silent Hill, the PT game/demo probably wasn't ready yet.

No, there were more bombshells dropped in Nintendo's E3 presentation than what was mentioned at the entire Gamescom event. Gamescom seems to only be gaining more traction with the internet.

I would love it became as big as e3. 2 e3's a year would make me very happy.
