While the gamescom conferences wernt as grand as they were at e3.... the main announcements/megatons that everybody waits for were!
Silent Hill - done by Hideo Kojima. Possibly Sony exclusive?
Xbox securing Tomb Raider exclusivity.
These have taken everyone by surprise!
Although, i think the TR announcement was simply done now because, it either wasn't a thing back then or they were still negotiating the terms. Similarly with Silent Hill, the PT game/demo probably wasn't ready yet.
