Okay here is my prediction for the PlayStation 3.  I'm not going to give you a laundry list of games or anything like that, just pure facts:

The PS3 has been outselling the XBOX 360 worldwide for the last twelve or thirteen weeks.  The amount that it's outsold 360 by has increased from 5-10k/week, to now outselling it by ~50k per week.  So here is my prediction.  That by the end of the Summer, the PS3 will be outselling the XBOX 360 on a weekly basis by 80-120k/week, and WILL catch up to the XBOX 360 by the end of the year.

I believed you on the 25% (4% left and 10 months to go) but outselling the 360 by 7mil?

I say 360 gets to 24mil I dont think the Ps3 can sell 14mil more...

When you say "will catch up to the 360" do you mean it'll be equal to it in WW sales? Because at 100k a week for the next 52 weeks, that's only 4 million more sales than the 360.. and since both only sale 150kish a week, it's hard to outsell the other by more than 50k or so a week except for big games, and holidays. And according to this graph, the sold very similar amounts during the holidays. Though I would guess that the PS3 will have a better holiday than the 360 this coming year, I don't think it'll be enough to get to equal sales.

Speaking of John Lucas where is that crazy man? I'd like to hear an authentic "John Lucas" prediction.

First off I'd like to clarify its definately 13, not 12.

Secondly, I think its fair to say it will catch up by the end of 2008. Wouldn't be surprised if by Q2 2009 if PS3 was ahead.

 Edit: that may be a little tough. Maybe by Q4.

I think that prediction is impossible, not only is the 360 supply constrained (why I don't know but apparently it is), but with Gears coming out, and a 7 million unit lead, incredibly unlikely, unless 360 sales drop off, by a lot, which I can't see happening

Think about it, DMeisterJ, with a 80-120k more each week, the PS3 cannot overcome Xbox360; It'd have to sell way more...
