I hope they brought a lot of COD to prepare them for the real war.

Awesome of Sony to reach out to troops!
Question is, are they doing it to some of the armed forces in Japan as well? It would be even more beneficial for them to do it in their own home country.

I have a feeling that in most countries outside of the US, the public wouldn't really care about something like this. In the US you can really use this for PR, I doubt you can in Japan.
Saw this video earlier today, I thought it was great what they did. Probably earned them some pr points as well.

People all over the world support their armed services to an extent. Perhaps not as much as we do here, but it's not like countries are completely indifferent to the men and women risking their lives for their country.
Sony has lost a lot of the trust of the Japanese people, and they lose more everyday when they show favoritism to other territories. I love that Sony reached out to troops here in the USA, but they should do it in their home country as well to any small extent to make up for the shitload of negative PR they have over the PS4 there.

the troops are there primarily to advance the agenda of the priesthood not to ensure freedom as propaganda like this would have you believe

I agree completly but I wont prolongue much cause this is not the place for political'social debates.

The thing is not many games on PS4 are attractive and appealing to Japanese, and the amount of gamers there are only what, 20%? Besides, Sony has PSVita to hold their home turfs so i won't worry much if i were you :)
oh and i think you know that Japanese are prefer playing handheld gamings than the console gaming.

Sony's PR departement is unmatched this generation.
