Wats going on with you lately? O.o You sound like you have not been paying attention to 3ds all year. Its a 4 week month and last released game was in the beginning of June!!!

Edit: 102k is a fair estimate, i mean look at previous months!!! Other months had some game releases as well!!!

159k: March

106k Apr

96k May

152k June

(85k-115k) July


What was 3DS for July 2013 NPD? I realize there are fewer releases, but it's not like it's a system with only 50 games or something, it has a pretty mature library by now.

Do we really need to look into 2013 numbers anymore? Its already half of 2014 and we call know 3DS is down by about half overall. Why not just compare it to the other months of this year? Its not going to magically go back to its peak year :-/

Doing 90k-105k for the month is good looking at the overall circumstances. I mean can you expect high numbers in July (4 week month) without a new release since beginning of last month?

Look at Apr/May #s. That had Kirby (which ended up with decent legs) and Mario Golf. Those months had 3ds do 106k/96k. I think July with 100k by looking at all this is pretty damn good  (Not to get confused with 3DS overall situation, but you cant expect some random bumps!)
