As a TRUE Swede you would know that icelandic isnt a real language, and would therefor not refer to it as such, since its common knowledge here that its a fairy tale language

Why in the world would you choose to learn Icelandic if you are swedish? Only 400k people speak it. I know I wouldn't choose to learn Norwegian if I hadn't been Norwegian.

Icelandic is a lot like Swedish was many, many years ago. It's very interesting, and allows me to read old texts.

The case is the same with Norwegian (You know, with Swedish and Norwegian being basically the same language). But It still seems odd too me.
