Forums - Gaming - Bayonetta 2: "Unrelenting,Sexy, and Totally Outragous"

I certainly hope that Nintendo has learned from its lack of marketing with The Wonderful 101. Bayonetta 2 needs to be advertised - and advertised well - with a big marketing push. The series does have a decent underground following and with the inclusion of the first game, the sales potential is there for fairly decent sales.

How do you go about creating a hype train for a game like this? Smash and MK are easy, you just reveal tracks and characters and whatnot, but with this I don't know how they would go about it...

They need to actually do advertising with tv commercials for one.  Obviously, they can't do the Happy Meal thing they did with Mario Kart (maybe ads at adult novelty stores though?  lol), but the point is showing off the character and making people aware that there is a very different kind of game releasing exclusivley for WiiU.

There is easy touch controls for this kind of thing. Touch to move, tap to attack, fap to cum

The lead in to the pumchline was brilliant. Bravo, good sir.

ign seem to have a different editorial direction with Nintendo now

Jose has always been a good editor. IGN has it's share of exceptional editors that create well-written editorials. Examples include Marty, Jose, Lucy, and Colin.

Yeah, visibility is obviously key, I just feel like 99% of the people who are going to buy this, already know by now if they are going to buy it (or at least already know about it).
