I'm guessing it clashed with PS Now.

Ha says a lot we even forgot it was originally Playstation Suite

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)
Im not surprised.. The client was a bitch to download and set up. Then in store you would find bothing but your run of the mill mobile showelvare but at a higher orice than play store equivilants.. There was simply no reason to use this over the stock android market.
To shut it down now would be twisted,
i just heard this place existed!
“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
- George Orwell, ‘1984’
"Android and iOS guidelines are too restrictive" sounds like a cop out excuse. They could get the apps published if they really wanted to, and Android updates is another excuse. This initiave could have helped to get PS games into more people's hands., and more PS4/Vita buyers. Sony should have given it better support from the get go. Limiting it to Tegra II devices was another stupid move. They shoild try to bring PS Now to mobile.

I don't think many people will care if its gone, but its still not the right thing to do. If those games won't work on future versions of Android, then they should refund their customers.
