I think the same as OP, when it comes to no games releasing on home consoles yet that appeal to me.  I also agree with forced online being bullshit.

What is forced online? Do you mean you are forced to play online?

Always online DRM.  Being forced to be online at all times during gameplay - even single player games.

The Evil Within, Assassin's Creed Unity, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix and Alien Isolation are all shovelware? Are you sure about that? :-/

It seems like only exclusives are games to the op.

Well, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix is a PS3 exclusive, isn't it?

Oh, it is! Then I can't understand why he discredited it at all. I also wonder what's wrong with Borderlands the pre-sequel, besides the fact It's multiplat. Saying that there are no games and that there are no games that appeal to you are two different things. Now the OP says there are no games, and he bluntly ignores the fact that It's at the start of a new generation so it will be slower than normal. Also from that list a user posted we can see that there is a ton of games both released and upcoming for 2014, which he discredits by saying that It's all DLC (whith the only DLC on the list being First light, which is a standalone DLC getting a retail release) and shovelware.

@op how many games forces you to always be online versus how many games don't?

there, thats a more reasonable list. i took out all the shovelware. and really, you are going to include DLC? that doesnt count as a game, thast absolutely ridiculous. also, some of those games have been delayed.

but really, my post was more about the first six months of the year and how unacceptable it was.

Shovelware? Oh my God.

This year has been really disappointing. 2015 is looking really good but I expect a few big games to be delayed in 2015 as well.

Shovelware? Oh my God.

mb he meant they need a shovel for all the moneyz... skylanders will make a lot of cash, and a sonic game with a tv show could print money 2.

and civ:BE is the stuff the nerds are waiting for like crackjunkies, and metro redux is a realy nice remaster of 2 realy great games wit just unfairly low sales, and a marvel toygame will print nerdmoney too, sames goes for stronghold crusader 2.

but those are not the games for the console casuals, they are for kids or core gamer...

I don't remember many SP PC games that require online.

If the reception to the Xbox One vision is any indication, game makers will never be able to realize their dream.
