Never seen Ryse in the flesh. Seems to me that while rise looks better, in a lot of ways Infamous SS is the more impressive achievement given open world vs linear.

Congrats to Crytek for making a visually impressive game. A pity they don't seem to be able to make an all around great game. Reminds me of a song title: nice legs, shame about the face.

It certainly has the best graphics to power ratio of this gen so far.

Well what do you expect from the developers of Crysis.
Crytek are masters of graphical fidelity, probably better at graphics than Microsoft's own independent development studios. Do you guys remember how amazing Crysis 1 was on PC. If you could run Crysis back then you could pretty much run any game.

I don't think we'll see as much improvement from the start to end of this gen compared to last gen. There's no exotic architecture to master this time around.

This is 2013...infamous was not eligible..Either way killzone and infamous look better..Infamous was not linear and limited making it more impressive. Easy to make good graphics when gameplay is so bad and everything is a scripted linear borefest.

Imagine what KZ and infamous would look like at 20 FPS and on rails?

Who? Never heard of them, but Ryse is the best looking X1 game and only the best looking X1 game.

OT: Well deserved!! I was blown away with Ryse's graphics, playing that spooky level at night was amazing.
