The fad returns!!!!

Btw- I had made the point that I beleive this week saw huge Wii shipments, the average price on Ebay fell by 75 dollars, and you can now get one for about 50 dollars over MSRP(plus like 40 shipping)

it appears that Nintendo alternates shipments or something..

they've been doing shipments once every two weeks. Thusly they nearly sell out in one week, then the next week is scraps.

Amusingly when the numbers came up I thought the wii only sold a bit over 100K and I thought "wow, much lower than I would've expected It's not outselling PS360 combined". But I was looking at the DS. The wii is actually kicking everything's ass and then writing down it's name (presumably so it can return later to kick it's ass again). After Japan it will have outsold PS360 combined with room to spare.

 completely agree.. its happened the last two times there were no shipments (for a given week), so i don't doubt it'll happen again

It's so hard to predict how the Wii will sell each wekk. My guess is that next week will have low sales so there will be plenty of Wii's stockpiled for the SSBB release.

What's up with the slow 360 sales in NA?

According to MS they have not been able to meet the demand after the holiday season. I think they're building up stock for GTA4 bundle, possibly a new SKU alltogether.
