According to more reliable numbers, the UK has been beat by France and Germany for a few years now:

Those include PC figures. UK beats everyone in Europe when it comes to the console industry. Just look at those German PS4 numbers through June (540,000). PS4 in the UK reached 530,000 by the end of 2013.

Those revenues include PC gaming, which is much more popular in France and Germany. But I am only talking about consoles. According to the sales figures, the UK is the biggest market for consoles. Having said that, we all know VGC figures aren't the most reliable so you could be right.

official sources say the same. last year we had offical sources say 360 was around the 8 million mark and ps3 around the 5 million mark in the UK. on the other hand we just knew that by june this year PS3 was 4.2 million and 360 was 2.1 million.

That's good to know. So UK should be mostly correct. I'm just skeptical of VGCs tracking after seeing how wrong the Germany numbers were. :S

UK has been ahead for many years but France did sell more consoles in 2012 and was close in 2013.

The point to the matter is that I'd like to see numbers for the rest of Europe and not just the UK. Nintendo, in the rest of Europe, has been raping the Top 10.

There is no other country big enough with a large enough games market that could come close to UK, France and Germany. Just think about what you are trying to argue for a second.

You want me to listen to you and reason with a person who hasn't done any homework on this subject? You then want me to think about it while completely ignoring the facts? Ermm... No.... No thanks.

Besides, France and Germany would be the "the rest of Europe" outside of the UK, wouldn't you agree?

I have done homework on the subject, thats why I know that games industry wide, Germany is the biggest because of PC gaming, but with only console related sales, the UK comes out on top.

Plus this website. Ahh I'm guessing you like Nintendo, that's why you want to see other markets. I understand now.

Which country in Europe do you think will have the biggest console sales console game sales this generation?

P.S. Why do you always write in bold?

Not only does your source include PC games and neglects to show Console revenue sales, but it completely understates your point. Wanna try again with a different source?
