I do not know how it works really. Assume need internet for it. If I get internet in my home it definitely interests me.

the psvita just isn't as good of a controller as the ps4's gamepad. when i'm in my house i just can't bring myself to play via remote play when a perfectly awesome ps4 is right there.
i've tried remote play when i'm on the road though. not many hotel have internet connections fast enough to use remote play but it is really nice to use when the option is there. but even then,. i have so many games to play on vita i tend to just play the psvita native games anyways.
I just spent the weekend with remote play. I went on a trip about 150 miles away from home and did about an hour of remote play each night from the hotel. It works very well, well enough I was able to obtain some trophies and set new personal records in a couple of the games I played.
For the most part I never use the feature as I am at home 99.9% of the time and I like the big screen and surround. However, I could see this being a great feature if you are on the road a lot, or travel for business. I am planning on starting to do a lot of traveling in about 4 years, and I can see a lot of use coming from this feature.

I don't use because I live alone. So no reason to use a smaller screen.
3DS, Wii, PSP, Vita, PS2, PS3, PS4 & Steam.
I used it once to check out how well it worked (works great!), and a few times I used it so my brothers could both play "Towerfall" with me (cheaper to use the Vita I already own than go out and buy another controller!). I will probably get a LOT more use out of remote play when the Playstation TV comes out...I will get that and an extra DS4 and be able to play all of my games in the living room!
tried it once... all the mapped touch controls are terrible... pretty much worthless as far as playing ps4 games...

I'm pretty sure the Vita and PS4 connect wirelessly with no additional equipment.

I tried to use Remote play but for me I get a lot of the micro blocking artifacts that completely spoil the experience for me.
Yeah I tried it for the novelty once but the controller lag makes it nearly unplayable IMO especially for certain genres like FPS. Plus the button scheme is also weird.
I tried Infamous Second Son on it. It was alright but i have no reason to use it. I want to play PS4 games on PS4 and PS Vita games on Vita. Remote play just feels like a gimmick to me.
