The following is my attempt at a profile, at least as best as I could do without referring directly to the thread when I was in class. I separated my notes into pros, cons, neutral (could be taken either way), and personal feelings. That last section is because I know I tend to let my feelings color my judgements.

Padib:

Pros:

-proven to be a governor, usually a town role

-makes unique contributions to discussions

Neutral:

-was honest about his role, cooperated in the end to test it

-initially was against testing so that he could reuse his role

Cons:

-governors can be mafia

-mafia governors tend to appear in games with other ways for town to kill besides a lynch

-there are multiple town roles that can kill (two vigs, potentially a bomb?)

Personal feelings:

-seems sincere (perhaps to a fault)

-seems to agree with me or think like me frequently

-has voiced disapproval of prof at times when I was fed up with prof, which I couldn't help but like

-has been really nice, at least to me and other noobs

Verdict: You know, laying it out like this makes me realize my belief in him being town isn’t as solid as I thought. Prof’s placing him as “somewhat town” actually seems right. Perhaps it’s my personal feelings talking, but I still lean town with him.

Anyway, I have good news for you too.

I've re-read the thread and done some very thorough analysis. It's a long read, with mostly only summarization of posts and very little commentary, but I can safely say, with 99% assuredness, that the scumteam consists of:


Outlaw
Nickles
Khan

And possibly one more, though I haven't found that person yet.
Key facts include:
Between the three of them, they only directly talked to one another a single time during day 1. Just two quoted post. This interaction read (paraphrasing)
Outlaw says: before I hop on the RCT train I want to hear what Trucks has to say
Nickles q-Outlaw: Make sure you have your own reasons. Bandwaggoning will only do us harm.
Outlaw q-Nickels: I have my own reasons for voting him, but I'm willing to hold off.

Day 2 sees only 7 interactions, almost all of them being fact corrections. One interaction is Nickles goading Khan to be more responsive, mirroring how padib goaded Outlaw to be more active day 1. This was a reaction to increased pressure, with an intended consequence of alleviating the major inactivity suspicion. Exact mirror of day 1 with pdaib/outlaw.
Day 2 also saw a complete change in Nickles. Day 1 he repeated throughout the day that he suspected Outlaw. First post of day 2 he repeats it. My next post says how I confirm outlaw is town because he's a coward. Nickles never again for the rest of the game asserts outlaw's suspicion, or makes any comment to it regarding such change in thoughts.

Day 3 sees only 5 interactions.
All three say they are sorry to cone (mafia gloating). etc. etc.

I'll make a writeup tomorrow with everything I found. Those are only some very interesting key facts. Once you see their intereactions, and how they seamlessly flow from thought to thought in tandem but without talking to each other, you'll see what I'm talking about.

They suspect, push, and defend all the same people with much the same verbiage.

Anyway. I'll give you noob townies a chance to check it out for yourselves. Tomorrow morning I'll post the full analysis, say 10am EDT.

No, I think this was very well thought through. It is roughly the same conclusion I've come to.

Also, I think the reason that I've had such a problem with Padib is because he's not being himself. I can smell disingenuousness a mile away. Not that he's doing it for a bad reason, but I'm pretty sure, and I think he will admit this, that at least earlier in the game he was either emulating, or trying to be different than himself. Perhaps he has a new role model, or he's taken after someone he knows in real life, but I can tell there is a disconnect between how he is and how he's acting.

At least that's my opinion.

Well shit, just got asked to the movies by the lady friend. I'm in the middle of going through padib's posts. There's something funny about how he dealt with people pushing for his power to be tested. It might have just been a mistake or uncertainty about how to handle it, but I want to look into it.

I've been the one all Day pushing Nicklesbe in the hot seat. Despite his claim of watcher, he was apparently reluctant to talk about it until i pushed for his overnight sighting.

I still think whiteeagle's the more suspicious of the two, and i'm still holding off until further in the Day (when we'll need to move lest the mafia does) on the off chance that i'm wrong. But i am the one who dragged out Nicklesbe this round.

Fine. But when Outlaw turns out Town and Khan turns out Mafia.... Don't you dare look at me to blame.
