I understand the point about counter-claim but what good would it do really? From what we've seen so far there has been 2 vigilantes. I'm not going to discount the possibility that there could be another doctor. However lets say there is only one doctor and WhiteEagle is it and cone lied. If WhiteEagle provides a counter-claim at best it shows that cone most likely lied. It would definitely make WhiteEagle a target if he is town and telling the truth. Is it really worth sacrificing the doctor to show that maybe cone lied? I don't think so. What if they are both telling the truth and are both Town doctors like there have been two town vigilantes. What good does a counter-claim do then? It looks to me like it's sacrificing both doctors at the same time. So I am having a really hard time seeing what good fishing for a counterclaim would do, and ultimately looks scummy to me. Am I wrong?

You're right in there are a lot of holes in his story. And why lie about being a swapper over a thief when there's no reason to (as a Thief is a morally neutral position).

I want to hear what RCT has to say about it again. And we shouldn't pull the trigger until he's here (I'm curious to find out if he got the beaststone back).

Sorry, but yes. A couterclaim would have been big news.

Also, there aren't duplicates in this game. There's a one-shot day vig, and a nighttime 'sort of' vig, not two identical ones.
