Forums - Gaming - Will Quantum Break come to PC?

If the game does come to pc it will be a year later afther everybody has already played it and don't care about the game anymore. This is how it has always been.

I seem to recall many, many PC fans picking up (and caring about) Alan Wake, Gears of War, and Halo 2 when they released on their platform. Thus, that isn't how it's always been.

OT: If it follows Alan Wake's footsteps, it will see a year-later-release. I'm expecting to enjoy it like Wake, in fact, so I'd buy an X1 just for it. My kind of game!

I dont recal anybody caring at all and I owned those 3 games on console and pc. People play games when they are new and fresh while everybody else is talking about them and playing them also. Whats the release date for Dead Rising 3 on PC? Does anybody even care?

If Microsoft is the publisher, one of two things will happen.

Is it going to be relatively popular/good? -----> exclusive for Xbox One

Is it going to be forgotten for the most part after a year? -----> comes to PC

That sums it up nicely.

If it is a quality title you will need to get an Xbox One.

If it is no good, you can play it on PC, but why would you want too?

starcraft - Playing Games = FUN, Talking about Games = SERIOUS

Yes, can't wait :^)

Given remedy's track record, I'm guessing it will come to PC. This game looks very interesting, but I'm still not convinced that it will actually be good.

I do hope so!

But despite what MSoft says about caring about PC gaming, they don't, and given that unlike what happened with Alan Wake, they own the Quantum Break IP, the chances are low.

Please excuse my bad English.

You owning all those games isn't really relevant to the point. Case - Gears, Wake, and Halo 2 were all bought and cared about and I'm sure Quantum Break, if it turns out good, will have a fanbase on PC.

In regards to your Dead Rising 3 question - you've not heard anyone talking about a release date so that indicates a lack of interest? Unlikely. What I can offer - it releases Sept. 5 and has a nice deal of support in the Steam community.

Edit:  In regards to Alan Wake PC, looks like the dev was satisfied with its numbers. Just some food for thought.

If you want to cross your fingers and hope games come to PC then go for it. I am not going to do it but if thats what you like. Somebody has to read our reviews and first impression post.

are we going to have this question on every single one exclusive?

I can save you some time.

That's what happens when you rely on third parties and your first party isn;t very good.

Gears, and Fable have been ported to PC - contradicting your initial argument

Then you claim that it was a long time ago - then Fable III contradicts your argument again

Then you say that it is irrelevant because the galme was bad, so it's not even a major franchise

Dude, Fable III is still part of a major franchise - it sold 5 M it beat Gears of War 4 at metacritics

Look, if you want to cite games that haven't been on PC in almost a decade, be my guest. Things have changed now that the Xbox brand has taken off, and there is no way Microsoft releases new iterations of their major franchises.

Fable used to be one. It isn't anymore, simple as that. Comparing it to the latest Gears (which was pretty mediocre by itself) does not help your point.

Like I said, tell me when Microsoft releases a new Halo, Gears, or Forza game on PC.
