Forums - Gaming - No Man's Sky is Timed Exclusive, Coming to PC

I thought it was old news that it would also come to PC. I doubt we'll see this on any Microsoft systems ever though. It's possible, but Xbox isn't the best place to try to sell indie games.

Limbo, Fez, Minecraft, State of Decay, Battleblock Theater, Feeding Frenzy, Trials series, Meat Boy, Braid. Guess where they rose to fame before Indie was a hip thing for publishers to brag about?

I don't get the hype. I haven't seen anything of interest

"Dr. Tenma, according to you, lives are equal. That's why I live today. But you must have realised it by now...the only thing people are equal in is death"---Johann Liebert (MONSTER)

"WAR is a racket. It always has been.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives"---Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler

Pretty sure he meant with the X1.... Minecraft owes very little to the 360, this game was pretty big on PC before it ever hit a console.  I am well aware that Minecraft hit Live before mobile (Android first) however that was a few months apart and the mobile versions were development before they could have known how well it would have even done on the console. Mobile has done more for minecraft then a console any for that matter has ever done. I would also not discount the pull Steam has with Indies, I would say Steam is just as big if not bigger.

And the only thing you talk about is Minecraft.

Sure it was launched on PC and it was famous before X360. However, on Xbox 360 it sold faster than any other game except GTA.

Now, where you gonna pull the mobile numbers to compare them to consoles?

90% of the posters above me are being quite silly.
Dead Man's Sky was hardly considered a System-Seller, plus we definitely knew it would come to other platforms.
So stop acting like now that its confirmed for PC, you won't have to purchase a PS4, you were never gonna buy a PS4 for that game anyway, if at all.
Les be real.
As for MS, they will probably override that stupid policy of theirs for this if they get the chance. And if anyone has the deluded idea that going to PC will lead to XB1 support needs to seriously give me some of what they're having.

Tezzagged for later.

Will be amazing with either Oculus Rift or project morpheus. The fact that an incredibly small group of guys made this game puts all devs to shame.

All Hail the Jester King. The King is back, and I am still a dirty girl prof ;)

I thought everyone knew this already. It wasn't official, but due to leaks and comments of the creator, it was incredibly obvious.
