It likely clears up cap space, otherwise I'd imagine the return would've been higher than a conditional 4th.  We'll know more when the details of the trade are made public.

The phrase "locker room cancer" is also popping up pretty regularly now that he's gone, complete with accusations that he gave Tate a black eye during the Super Bowl (a plus, if true). No idea how much of it is true, though.

Still...that's a huge loss for the Seahawks.

That guy whined and complained his entire time in Minnesota, and took games off due to "migraines and light-headedness." I figured he'd be happy in a state where he can blaze up all the hell he wants. Thank you Seattle for sending him to the Jets, where WRs go to die. That perpetually injured, crybaby-weedhead can smoke his way out of the league for all I care.

Good move by the Seahawks, Harvin didn't really do much for them anyway.

Agreed this year for sure.  I thought he did good in the postseason last year though unless I'm not remembering correctly.  Still a good move if they can fix more pressing pieces of their picture.

Its pretty save to say that nobody that is currently playing quarterback in the NFL will pass Peyton Mannings TD numbers.

It's probably also highly unlikely that anyone else currently playing in the NFL will get to 500 TD thrown.

And if all the reports about his off field behavior are true it would have been a good move even if he actually did something for them this year.

Brees and Brady have a shot if they play long like Favre did, but who knows how long they'll play. Luck would be my most likely pick to come to that kind of record though, he's incredible for being so young.

Maybe not, but Blake Bortles has a shot at 500 interceptions if given a chance.

But if you look at the chart he has to play until 45 to get to 500 I doubt that will happen.  The only way he gets close is if the Colts run the ball a lot less and that is not going to happen anytime soon since the currently have two good backs.  Edgerrin James had four very good years with the Colts all the other years he was just average so out of the 14 years he played so far Manning only had a very good running back for four years.

No he will be cut a long time before.  That is one record Farve will probably keep forever is  the one for interceptions thrown at 336 noboby else is even close since the active leader right now is Peyton Manning and he only thrown 222.
