Forums - Gaming - It's time to accept it, PS4 has won the US this gen

its time to accept that "its time to accept..../can we all agree that...."-threads are extremely annoying.

If everyone would have accepted that winning during the first 6 months = winning a generation, then last gens winner would be the Xbox 360 because it was out earlier. Also PS3 taking years to finally sell more than 360 would be irrelevant because well the 360 clearly won last gen right?

too soon to be certain that X1 can't overtake PS4, but I don't think it will happen.

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

Wasn't the Wii winning in all regions for like many many years and people conceded then we saw what happened.

This isn't a sprint it is a race.

If Microsoft can pull out a few rabbits out of their hat there is always a chance.

Way to early to call it. Things are still rather close, regardless of who is outselling who.

A huge holiday could push this either way.

i hope so im form US and i just got tired of the 360 winning all the time and for your info ps4 only lost one npd to the XB1 mostly likely due to supply in Dec

OG Wii dominated for years

XBOX ONE/Wii U/3DS/PC

RIP Iwata 12/6/1959-7/11/2015

Thanks for all the great memories!

Its a bit early to call I think. Sony has a lot of the momentum and MS needs to do a lot to get back up there but it is possible.

Basically.

Didn't the Sega Genesis start off with a pretty wide lead over the SNES in NA, only to be overtaken in the end?

I wouldn't say its impossible for Xbox One to make a similar move. The consoles aren't even a year old yet.
