I hope they make more shows like it because I agree completely. Of course that is the minor advantage to a show that doesn't require the japanese audience for success.

Currently watching Boruto and DBS weekly. Finished most of Umaru Chan season 2. Anyone watch Devilman on netflix yet? heard it was crazy

Just finished Saiki K. season 1. Glad I did, once I got used to weird format and fast-talking (sorry Farsala I stayed in Japanese), it's really enjoyable. Great cast of characters and lots of 4th wall breaking humor and references to other manga. I like how the MC was so aware of every anime trope coming his way. Kinda like Sakamoto meets One Punch Man.

Next up...might catch up on Darling in Franxx this weekend. Seems like a lot of people are talking about it, and the clips I've seen look appealing. Depends how I feel.

I haven't watched it. I might since you guys keep mentioning it.

Yeah, it's the bittersweet ones, that are the best and most memorable imo. Not every story needs a happy ending.

Well I also finished Shimoneta. This show had some very high highs and some lows. THAT SCENE was very interesting, but also makes you wonder just what people would be like if anything sexy was outlawed. I imagine it would be similar to how people reacted to prohibition era or even now with weed. But the anime goes a step further and is highly outlawed so idk if it would be the same. Of course in Japan the opposite seems to happen with lots of weird sex stuff but the population as a whole aren't having too many children.

Some of the characters were hilarious, especially scenes with Anna, Gouriki and Takuma. "Love nectar" will permanently be imprinted in my head now... as well as the hilarious reactions to Gouriki and the fight scenes with  Takuma.

Music was meh overall.

I was hoping the service I was using (Funimation) would go right into season 2...but it seems like it's not available on any legal service this season. Did a little research, and it sounds like Netflix picked it up, which means you can only watch it when they want you to watch it. I'm actually kind of impressed at Netflix, it takes effort to be this much of an actual cock. Guess I'll have to head to the Grand Line again.
