Citrus bois, is a great adaptation so far, the OP is great, the pacing of the episode, all the small jokes were nicely incorporated, reread the first volume last night, so I can safely say it is pretty faithful. I'm ready for more of my teen gay angst. 

Mah girl Saburouta (citrus' mangaka) also blessed us with the ED art, so good that they got her to do it.

Looks like it's gonna be a slow season for me this time. Maybe one anime I might be interested in. I guess I'll burn through my backlog some.

Yeah, couldn't even get through half of Popteamepic. When will people learn that just referencing something is not comedy, nor is it satire. It's just a reference with zero substance. If I want to watch a batshit crazy comedy I'm gonna watch Ai Mai Mi or Teekyuu, those have actual jokes in them.

If Slow Start intended to be highly average then it succeeded admirably.

At least it had the ear candy of Maria Naganawa to enjoy.

It is almost aggressively average but it's competently moe with pleasant character design and good attempts at comedy, so who am I complain.

Mitsuboshi colors is sad. Like someone really wanted to make a new Ichigo Mashimaro but just fails on all levels. The jokes aren't deadpan enough, the seiyuu performance is lacking, there are no compelling side characters and the visuals are just all over the place.

Granted, Ichigo Mashimaro is a fucking masterpiece. But it makes me wonder, where are all the comedy masterpieces gone? Why isn't there another Azumanga Daioh, Pani Poni Dash, Zetsubou Sensei, Hanamaru Youchien, Renkin san-kyuu Magical Pokaan or Mitsudomoe? Good comedy animes are sooooo rare these days.

So far, I'm only watching Record of Grancrest War and Katana Maidens: Toji No Miko for now. From this link, http://www.crunchyroll.com/lineup there's some more that have yet to come out.
