Alright. I watched Knight's and Magic. I feel like I say this about a lot of anime, but it was a weird show. It really needed to be extended to 2 seasons with how much it seemed to skip around. The MC being a trap was odd, but fine anyways. The MC not being from that world but they only mention it for the first 3 minutes of the show was also odd. Still I enjoyed it, sometimes one need a super OP MC. The politics in the show was intriguing and all the characters were fine. The combat was great. Overall an average show.

I also just watched this. Mechs were great, and it felt like it needed 24 episodes. However, the MC (and none of the supporting cast, save one) has any kind of development, and the preface of the MC coming from the real world is nigh forgotten. It definitely feels like this should have been a multi season show that got crammed into 13 eps. Definitely quality production, but with a script that goes nowhere.

Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou's final episode was too perfect, what an amazing ride this was.

"Even if the world ends… I wouldn’t really care. As long as I have you, Yuu, I’m happy…”

Quote of the season. Satisfying af.

I also watched Gamers! I will say right now that it is what I will say is the most underrated show of 2017. Honestly about halfway through the show I laughed myself to tears. Never thought an anime about Gamers could be so hilarious. An episode equal to the most hilarious episodes I have seen like in Full Metal Panic Fumoffu and Baccano and others. I was just glad I was home alone at midnight laughing like a maniac and didn't wake anyone up, besides the kitten next to me.

Additionally all the game references were cool. Seeing FFXV in an anime was odd, and the conversations about games like that was quite interesting. The references to the consoles were cool with the controllers/ consoles of the PS4, Vita and even the Switch.

I loved Gamers!! I went into it expecting your typical rom-com show, ended up with something a lot closer to a western sit-com. Really hit all the right notes with me, and had me laughing out loud several times. Favorite part was the Amano's unintentional confession, with everyone coming up with convoluted scenarios in their head to explain everyone's reactions. It was like 8 minutes of basically nothing happening, and it was amazing.

That being said, the love triangle introduced at the end hurt the comedic pacing quite a bit, and the short-haired girl's sister was just terrible. Probably the main reason I feel so-so on a season 2, even if I loved season 1.

Favorite gaming reference was that final end card though...hehehe.

Yeah some shows peak early and some shows peak near the end. But this show definitely peaked midway with that episode. The faces during those scenes and the people staring at them like they are crazy all just pushed me over the edge. I could just imagine a real life scenario like that being like wtf? If season 2 has even a fraction of the hilariousness of that episode then I think it would be worth it. And yeah they were hinting that the little sister would like him too but it never happened so she just ended up being annoying by gunning for her sister.

Am I the only one tired of the Subs vs. Dubs "debate"? There's no debate just pick what you like and enjoy it.

Anime of the year?

Anime of the year.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

I loved every bit of Houseki but man, that cliffhanger hurts.

Also, merry christmas you weebs or whatever you are celebrating (or not).

Watched "Your Name" today and it was such a beautiful surprising treat this Christmas. Seriously this anime was so beautiful. I never laughed as much for any anime film. The twist and suspense was engaging and I loved every minute.
