Watched Demon King Daimao. A short little anime and pretty satisfying. The anime starts off well and I still crack up imagining something that can truly tell your destiny and then telling you that you are going to be a Demon King. The antics to try and not be a demon king just to look like it more and more. I also love completely overpowered characters that don't realise just how strong they are. The scene demonstrating this a little bit made me crack up as much as Shaolin Soccer did when some ludicrous things started to happen.

Of course the show is very japanese with high school theme and harem stuff going in and the ending was very weird... Sad about some loose ends, and no sequel in sight but c'est la vie. Well worth it, despite the apparent audio issues.

Net-juu ep. 4 was really cute.  I wonder how the new girl will fit into the IRL dynamic.

A lot of good slower-paced anime this season.

Maybe I'm just so used to these secrets being dragged out, but I liked that Sakura-chan figured it out already. Or seemed to. Curious if he'll confront her when they go out, or if this will be reset somehow.

Sangatsu was good this week, the backstory segments always make my throat tight. I liked how it all circled back to something happening in the present. Poor Hina-chan...someone help her!

Imouto Sae might be one of my biggest surprises this season. Despite the awkward ecchi humor, the SoL bits are genuniely amusing, and it's fun to see what kinds of conflicts light novel authors deal with routinely (albeit dramatized for humor I assume). I like the post-college setting quite a bit, it's a pretty refreshing change from the usual high school setting. Can't remember the last time I watched an anime where the MC had to file his tax return. Relatable!

Accountant girl is great. There's something about her...not sure what it is...*shifty eyes*

Also I don't even need to try to find references anymore.

Houseki no Kuni staying strong. Easy AOTS for me right now.

Sho's Azami was amazing...my hype wasn't unfounded. That voice will never not give me chills.

Was waiting for the big plot shift to happen in Shokugeki, and boy, here it is. I do feel like the E10 introduction being relegated to an OVA hurt the reveal a bit, since that arc foreshadowed these events...but I suppose it's fine.

Definitely hyped for next week...I'll try not to cry but I'll probably cry.

So I watched the first Kara no Kyoukai movie yesterday together with a friend. I certainly know now why people praise it so much and also why I don't really support that praise. Probably has something to do with the excessive cut wounds I suffered due to the amount of edge in those 50 minutes.
