I don't know if I like Renai Boukun. It does the thing I like in comedies like complete recklessness and comic faces but it just does too much. It rides all one note jokes into the ground instantly.

Really enjoyed Boruto ep 1.

Clockwork Planet has the most boring story and characters but it certainly makes up for it in setting and direction.

New season of Berserk somewhat improves the visuals but still suffers from incompetent directing. There is a major loss of emotional payoff because it all just rushes by, and there is a ton context that is lost on people new to the series because content is either mishandled or outright missing. Guts and Farnese are just shallow representations of their characters because they are lacking quite a bit of their backgrounds and development. I'm going to keep watching just because it'll give me something to complain about.

I really enjoyed Re-Creators. They got nice direction, cool special effects and great music. Also main girl seems pretty cool.

Planning on watching Re;Creatirs in a bit

This season I'm really into Boku No Hero Academia and Little Witch Academia.
I think Little Witch Academia had some nice pacing, and I think its going to really pick up.

Boku No Hero... Obviously I'm loving it. I've been hyping it up for well over a year. And they're doing dubs simultaneously so I think I'm probably going to rewatch it that way. The new OP song is fantastic, I wish the opening itself had a bit more fluff, but I can see why they didn't do it. I think this is going to cover what the part the story why I think Boku no Hero is going to be huge. Also the animations this episode were superb.

AOT... I'm not hyped for tbh. Not because of the anime itself. It's great so far obviously... but there's always that one friend you have who reads the manga and here and there spoils stuff. At first I was fine but after 4 years of that... Anyway first 2 episodes are pretty solid.

Not watching anything else so far this season, but the Laughing salesman looks unique. Might wait for a couple of episodes to build up before watching.

I really REALLY hope they animate The Promised Neverland soon. Just not too soon.

My Hero Academia
Shingeki no Kyojin
Persona 5 (I'm counting it)
Eromanga no Incest show
Love Tyrant

Might drop the last two if I get bored. Probably will start Little Witch Academia if it's on Netflix now. Also want to try that Danmachi spinoff, even though I was lukewarm towards the first season.

I read somewhere that the manga was intented to be pretty short, so if it ends in the next few months, I think there's a good chance we'll get an anime soon. They'll wanna boost the volume sales as much as they can while it's still selling.

We'll see though, I don't understand how anime studios decide these things sometimes. My Hero Academia is getting 25 eps this year, while SnK is getting 12...despite the latter having much more content to adapt. I don't mind, since I'm much more interested in MHA, but it's still kind of odd.

Looks like this season is kinda meh. There are qite a few competent animes like Clockwork Planet, Alice and Re-Creators but nothing that really wows. Also my search for best girl seems pretty tough this season. All my hopes are left with ID-0.

Here's my current list for the new animes:

Granblue Fantasy - Watched the first 2 eps last season and waiting for the 3rd ep. It was ok. Potential drop.

Alice to Zouroku - Quite competent and I like the "little girls escape factory where they were experimented on" story type. Easy keep.

Frame Arms Girl - Alright for what it is. Probable keep.

Busou Shoujo Machiavellism - Some generic BS but kinda alright. Next Ep has to convince. Probable drop.

Sakurada Reset - Takes itself way too seriously. Potentially a drag. Probable drop.

Sakura Quest - Inoffensive and sometimes fun. Should become a lot better once more girls show up. Keep.

Clockwork Planet - Cool setting and competent direction and music. Keep.

Renai Boukun - Probably the most controversial one. It hits all the right comedy notes but hits them way too often and hard. Has a potential to be really really annoying. Keep for now.

Hinako Note - This one was actually disappointing. I expected waaaay more moe but it just settled with moderate cuteness and comedy. Could've been a lot better. Keep.

Re:Creators - Main girl feels really pleasant and it has nice music and visuals. Really hope it can keep it up. Keep.

Eromanga Sensei - Not sure about it yet. Depends on future interaction between the duo even though they're both not very likable. Probable keep.

My list should be complete by the end of the week.
