How about a poll about which Genre of anime people like?

For example, Slice-of-Life, Comedy, Action, Yuri etc

I'm nominating Saki, so I can post my favorite AMV again :)

Season two's setup got me so hyped...it was so perfect for interesting developments but they never really did anything with it. I've been asking for a season 3 that actually went somewhere since I saw that, but honestly, I don't know if I want another season where nothing happens.

Also, Chuu is one of my least favorite anime ever @.@ I'm staying as far away as possible from S2 (and future seasons?) of that...

Sounds good, if there is no other recommendation we'll go with Saki.

No offfense, but most of these aren't genres, but themes. Seinen, Shoujo etc are demographics. That's why you have a lot of overlap in there.

Might be demographics, but are practically genres of their own with modern anime/manga. That's why a lot of sites include them in the genres. I can change it if it's a problem though.

I'm currently using my aditional time this season to rewatch Lucky Star. I watched it years ago and it was pretty much my first anime I've watched of this kind.  I feel like my taste has shifted in these years towards this genre and that I unfairly gave it an 8/10 back then.

If it's better then it will get an 8.5 which in my ranking is a huge step up from an 8.
