Yes, it's really good! A very nice Trigger show, 2nd season is coming, so now is a good time to watch it :)

Character: Guts

Anime: Berserk

Bio: Guts is the protagonist of the story. He is a tall, muscular man with a huge sword called the Dragon Slayer, a prosthetic left forearm that has a magnetic grip which also conceals a cannon. Guts is a tragic hero; he is born as one who may be able to struggle against Causality, but seemingly unable to affect it on a large scale.

User comments: (I bookmarked the comments from earlier but I lost to bookmarks :/ So... I shall make it up unless someone finds those posts :P)

User 1: Guts is awesomez

User 2: Guts have my babies

That user 2 comment :o...totally not me cough* cough*

BTW thanks Cap for doing Guts :)

After that watch the second episode as well.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I need your help. I am an rookie when it comes to anime and I have hit a snag. I've just finished the last episode of a anime I was watching and am unsure what to watch next.

These are the ones I have seen:

- DBZ (liked it and watched it to the end but was getting bored of the rinse and repeat formula)
- Naruto (liked it more than DBZ, but not the best)
- Bleach (I loved it more than DBZ and Naruto. I think I liked the whole heaven and hell thing and enjoyed the humor more than in the other two)
- One Piece (I got up to the bit where he fought the clown and then got bored)
- Seven Deadly Sins (absolutely fell in love with this. for me it was the perfect blend of story, characters, humor and fanatsy)
- Blue Exorcist (loved this just as much as Seven Deadly Sins)
- Fate/Stay Night (Enjoyed this as well, but it was lacking the humor from the above 2)

I've also watched AoT and OPM, but I think them 2 are on a league on their own.

I like martial arts, sword fighting, spells, summons, quirky characters, humor, and less formulaic animes. If there is anything that anyone could recommend that would be awesome!

Welcome to the thread! Seems you enjoy Shounens the most. I recommend checking out:

Mob Psycho 100- From the same author of OPM, it started this season. You know what you're getting into :P

My Hero Academia- A series about superheroes training at a school specialized for them that's very fun.

HunterxHunter- One of the best Shounens out there. Definetly a must watch.

Noragami-  A show about Gods, that I think you'll enjoy.

Hajime No Ippo- Even if you don't like boxing, you'll still enjoy this series. The fights are amazing.

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure- One of the most unique series out there and my personal favorite. If you can get past the unique art style, you're in for a treat.

Rurouni Kenshin- Great swordsman series, a little old, but still worth the watch.

Samurai Champloo-A very different from the norm samurai series.

YuxYu Hakusho-Another old one, but a really good series that has to do with demons. Same author as HxH.

Fairy Tail- If you can get past th fact that friendship trumps everything here, you can still enjoy it.

Gintama-One of the funniest series out there and there's a lot of episodes for it out, so plenty of good times to come!

Fate/Zero-Prequel to Fate Stay Night, just in case you didn't see it.

Kabaneri of the iron fortress- Same team that did AoT, very similar to it as well.

Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood- One of the most acclaimed series, haven't met anyone that doesn't like it.

Btw, there's a reboot of Blue Exorcist coming(or a new season), so keep your eyes on that.

Hope this helps and you like some of these :)

Will have to check out Mob Psycho 100. I loved everything about OPM.

I've heard from someone else on Chartz that Gintama is awesome. Looks like I'll be diving into that after Mob Psycho :)

Actually hard to think of something since Nanatsu no Taizai is pretty much the pinnacle of fantasy Shounen.

You should definitely try out Soul Eater though. It's quite unique. Hunter X Hunter is also pretty unique in its own way.

Also something artistically excellent and certainly unique with great story and characters would be Katanagatari.

Yup, Seven Deadly Sins had a lot I absolutely loved. In fact I can't think of anything I didn't like. There were bits that reminded me Studio Ghibli stuff, other bits that reminded me of old classic video games such as Wonder Boy and Alex the Kidd.

Subaru x Ground Dragon

Ground Dragon for best girl

Nice :)

Gintama is amazing, you'll definitely enjoy it and MP100 is only 5 episodes in, so you can catch up rather quickly.

Well, a bit of a weird episode of Danganronpa Future. A lot of discussions and teasers about possibly big revelations, an already announced death and a sad one :(

Still no idea who the killer is, next episode could be interesting if the revelations are shown...

Summer season is just filler episodes until we reach the MEGA FALL SEASON EXTRAVAGANZA!

So far I'm enjoying it but I'm pretty far behind again. Looks like I have to keep a strict regiment of 5h of anime a day to catch up to all of the animes until Fall.

What is so expected in Fall?
