I don't really have an anime of the season. Not one anime sticks out for me. Kind of a disappointing season overall. At least the ones I watch week by week are entertaining enough. Two of the ones I watch are getting a second cour anyways, and they're probably my top picks this season, so I've got nothing.

Anne Happy was awesome this week. Mecha-Timothy is also awesome.

Since it's E3, today's topic will be light. Are you interested in sports anime? If not, name the reason/s why not and/or things that might help you get into the genre or simply say you just don't like sports :P

Personally, I love sports anime like Hajime no Ippo, Slam Dunk, Prince of Tennis, Eyeshield 21,etc.  There's just something really relatable about them giving their all to win a game or a match. I guess, it's because I love sports in general and being an athlete I've felt the same emotions they go through when losing and winning.

I started to watch some sports anime last year. It started with Food wars (I consider it a sports anime in some ways). I like the competitiveness of the characters. After that I decided to give Haikyuu a shot. I liked it so I watched Ace of the Diamond, too. I haven't watched any sports anime in a while though. I'm thinking of watching that one about cycling.

Luluco Ep 12 was amazing. I can't believe how Imaishi is able to deliver consistent epicness throughout decades. If that man ever dies I may have to stop watching anime.

Also I need that Teddyloid ED remix in my life.

I see the poll and no re:zero and wonder.... how is it not on the poll unless he's only counting those that end in spring. Re:zero is my #1 followed by assclass

Sansha Sanyou doesn't get enough love. It's absolutely on par with Anne Happy. Also Kumamiko is not far behind. Really a great season for comedy.

If he dies, he'll just come back to life.

Too many awesome part to that episode though.

Asterisk concluded satisfactorily. They left an open end for another season if it happens to get made, and they wrapped up just about everything that led into and involved the Phoenix Festa, one particularly slimy student council president being the exception.

I thought the bit with Ayato's sister and Magnum Opus felt incredibly forced, and the fact that Ayato's sister was just chilling in a hospital in town and absolutely nobody in the hospital seemed to know who she was to alert Ayato comes across as a super weak and poorly thought out plot point.

That aside, no real complaints. It was pretty average overall, but I would watch another season if it was made.

So... now that Asterisks war has ended its brought up something within me that happens all too often. Anime that end in a way that they just need another season. So which anime have you guys watched that ended in a way that just made you want it to have another season? For me I'll say No game no Life, Magical Index and Nanoha vivid.
