I read the manga since the beginning (is from the mangaka of Ga-rei, wich had a anime pre-quel Ga-rei Zero...) and the first apisode is not like the original manga, and some of the characters that appears there are from Ga-rei zero, the two girls on the first scene and the couple that figth with bike against the teleporter girl.. all of thse are refference to ga-rei zero...(anime which I recomend you, the manga too)... Well tokyo ESP is prety fun manga, and the anime seems like's gonna be as good..

Agreed! Gen Urobuchi is the writer though, so I have high hopes that the anime becomes something amazing as the series moves forward. Episode 5 was awesome, and I'm hoping they can keep it up!
