So, I just started watching the supposed third season of Milky Holmes, Futari wa Milky Holmes.

No, seriously.  It's like they took Nichijou and made it into a serious anime about cute school-girls.  I can't even ...

Why is this happening?  I feel like I've been robbed.

Isn't that all an anime needs to be good though?

Perhaps I've reached my saturation point.  Regardless, when you're expecting cute school-girls to be doing stupid and hilarous things but instead they're being serious about fighting crime and whining about their family life, it's kind of a shock.  I'll watch another episode but if it's as boring as the first, I'll jump to season four and pretend season three never existed.

@bolded intentional joke or typo?

And I get that. Although usually for me it's a side character I like so I want to check if they actually appear again later or are completely forgotten about like many side characters

Typo :)

Oh well, it's not as if there wasn't any yuri there

That romance was really done right, made me really care for it. I wish more animes would do gay romances more.

I wish they did less of it. Those turned nanoha into something I wish it wasn't. Kinda killed the show when you really look at it.

The concept was plain bad from the start and you may as well skip season 4 too since it's hardly any good from what I heard ...

Thoughts on the only two anime I'm watching this season.

Charlotte: AH YES MY SHIP MY FUCKING SHIP WOOOOOOOOOO

 Yuronoa Zoro's

Who's Yuronoa Zoro?

It's a pun. Roronoa Zoro is a character from One Piece who ended up coming back after the major time skip in the series with a slashed eye that he always keeps closed. Yu now has a slashed eye that he always keeps closed. Thus, Yuronoa Zoro.

So I watched the episode of Charlotte last night and I'm enjoying where it's going. I won't mention any specific plot details, but it does remind me of Angel Beats in that it feels like it could have ended this episode, but next episode will probably find someway to be an emotional gut punch of a finale. I'll be interested to see how they resolve everything in 20 minutes.

I also watched the last episode of Gate. Not a lot really happened since it had to stop right before things could really start ramping up, but it was still satisfying enough knowing that the series will come back in January for its other 12 episodes.

Finally, I watched the latest episode of Denpa Kyoushi, AKA Ultimate Otaku Teacher. I don't know what to think at this point. It isn't as if these past couple of episodes were bad for the final small arc, but the show just isn't what it was in the first 12 episodes. It feels like they tried to kick the MC's character development into overdrive, and have done little more than make everything feel super rushed.

Durarara deserves a real budget. Anyone still watching/reading the series ?

That last gate episode was... anti climactic. Disappointing that it won't continue until January either, that's a long wait!

That wasn't the last episode ...

There's 25 episodes, what you watched was the 24 episode ...

"That last gate episode" - He was talking about GATE, not Arslan.

Oh, your right ...

hehe, but speaking of which there's absolutely no way Arslan can properly end in just 1 more episode. It needs another season and it's definitely good enough to deserve one. Although 2nd seasons of anime seem to be fairly rare so I'm probably gonna be disappointed

They just have to put up a good enough conclusion on that Arc to satisfy me considering the series is almost 30 years old ...

I definitely want another season but I also want the studio behind Arslan Senki to return on working a second season of Arpeggio: Ars Nova ...
