Just finished up watching NouCome (aka My Mental Choices are Interfering with Somethingratherblahblahblah)

Basically it was just a wishy washy harem with far too much amnesia for anybody's good, but it had a strange hook that actually turned out to be pretty funny. Overall, I'd say it wasn't a good show but I still enjoyed it.

PS: Best girl

Damn the latest episode of Snafu is so strong.

Yeah, I think I said a few pages ago that I liked that this season has more weight to it than the last, but its starting to grind my gears. I feel most of the characters are acting in ways that just makes very little sense (Yunoshita probably annoys me the most, because she has been a horribly uninteresting character all season), which makes some of the drama seem forced.

Still, I'm glad that they are actually going somewhere with the show and I hope that they iron things out.

That scene with Hiratsuka was pretty wonderful though...

You should read the LN. Its pretty easy to understand why she is behaving like that.

I kinda get why she is acting like that, but she has been a non factor all season with no development or any interesting participation. Shes less developed than the side characters and she is one of the main girls. Its just frustrating how the writers decided to handle the situation, and it feels like the drama is treading water, trying to drag out the feels.

Hopefully that changes next episode...they set everything up, just knock it down and all will be forgiven (okay, not all, but I'll probably stop complaining (no guarantees though))

Episode 8 was Euphonium was awesome. Really just blew me away from start to finish. Someone give the people working that episode a raise. It actually felt like the last episode of the anime in the way it was handled. I kept watching bits over again. Also, damn it, I never thought Euphonium would get me super turned on, either.

I'm losing enthusiasm for Shokugeki no Souma. It alternates between super dramatic and super boring. Cook that chicken perfectly or get expelled! Use the wrong hair gel and get expelled! I mean, gee whiz, I wonder what's going to happen. I suspect the main character is going to cook something good using only that paper clip and piece of chewing gum.

Also, I never, ever would have guessed that Punchline would turn out to be one of the more interesting anime of the season.

Snafu has wasted a lot of time this season.

Marathon'd Barakamon yesterday and it was pretty fantastic. It had a lot of the improving as an artist themes that I seem to be watching a lot lately, but it did it in a way that was more down to earth. Also, the character of Naru was wonderful, and the whole cast of characters on the island was super heartwarming.

Overall, its a great show, and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting some heartwarming slice of life comedy.

Started Shirobako today and so far I'm enjoying it and looking forward to what comes next!

PS: I'm watching too much anime...someone help me

lol There is not such thing as watching too much anime. I'm behind on about 3 of them this season but I'll catch up eventually when I stop watching fairy tail / run out of fairy tail episodes.
