When you click on the image links below, what I see is fairly good graphics. Reminiscent of HL2 Episode Two. I quite like the visual style.

Guys.... I have some really bad news
Gears of War 2.... Isn't what we thought it was going to be like.... I'm soryy to break it to you guys but here are the REAL screenshots.

I really dislike the art direction of the game, but if those graphics aren't good I don't know what is.

Umm, well being a Nintendo fanboy I'd usually jump at the opportunity to laugh at some supposed 'bad' PS3 screens, however I thought those screens looked quite impressive.

Not to add fuel to the fire (I personally think it looks great even in that version of the picture), but did anyone read the update?

"Update: Ok, a lot of people seem to think we resized the old images and made them 7 times bigger or something. Rest easy, we did not. As said earlier in this post, the original images were 10,000px in size. And they were released in this form by Sony themselves, so we in fact sized them down 50% to approx. 5,000px so they wouldn’t be too ridiculously huge. The point was to give the fans of the R franchise a very detailed look at R2. As Sony probably wanted when they released them in this über-size. You’re welcome."
