The ultimate multiplayer game: Sex... Singleplayer is just so lame,,

FFIV. Whenever I explore the local countryside - especially mountains and waterfalls, the theme music starts to play in my head. To a lesser extent Castlevania IV and FFVI. Zelda II often comes to mind when I'm on a coast line on a sunny day. Where I currently live a lot of the coast is somewhat exotic with high cliffs and dramatic beaches, and it makes me feel like I'm in WoW.

Super Meat Boy

It came out of nowhere and turned out to be by far the best platformer and probably the overall best video game I have ever played. Unique setting, great art direction, infectious music, perfect physics, amazing level design and a flawless difficulty curve. I could not have designed a better game with unlimited resources.

I guess I've been thinking about the Master Chief Collection a lot recently.

Grandia II - Still the best combat ever enjoyed in a JRPG.

DooM. I don't think I have gone 6 months since 1993 without playing at least one iteration fully through, and I collect memorabilia related to it.  I have autographed games and posters.  I have the comic book in my sig autographed, shirts, art cells, original hard disk versions etc.
