The only thing that really gives away that it was a PS3 game is the geometry. Other than that its beautiful.

Yup.. I suggest those who owns the ps3 version that wants the ps4 version to take advantage of this deal... Especially if all they had was the base game.. Its a top notch value @ $25.. BTW.. Ebgames is also running the same promo.. Get it while it lasts..

Ugh I hate this line of thinking. If you don't like it you have to be a hater.... the worst kind of console wars logic.

Truth be told Id rather hear the opinions of people who prefer other consoles when it comes to console exclusives as they don't just gush over it for being on their preferred platform. If an Xbox fan says a Playstation game is good im definately more likely to take notice of that. Sure youll get the people who just hate for the sake of hating but you can just ignore them as theyre pretty obvious.

there is a difference between being criticial and hating something without giving a true valid reason...Almost everyone who is complaining(?) here hasnt given one. and if they had, this wouldnt be the first game or highly acclaimed one that has such issues. The reason why this particular game remaster has generated over 8 hate (now?) threads and this new one has over 20+ pages in such a short span of time still baffles the shit out of me. There can only be one conclusion: 

if you dont like it, you can state your case and move on. I dont go around the Xbox forums and say shit about Halo or Gears ( I fucking love Halo by the way). See how long It took me to write on this thread? that is because i actually read through every single reply especially those who disagrees with the scores on Metacritics. Most are very offputting and doesnt make a lick of sense or are too hypocritical. One word: Butthurt. 

That would be me. I did not get it last year because I was sucked into GW2 (and did not get un sucked in till PS4 came out in Nov)

Cant wait to experiance this game for the 1st time on the PS4!

If I eventually get rid of my Ps3, or permanently disconnect it from the TV, I will pick this up. Otherwise I will do my "nothing better to play right now" replays on my trusty old phatS3.

You're absolutely right, but from business point of view it makes no sense to fix such "details". People will notice, moan about it and they'll buy it anyway (like me). So what's the point. And I understand that. What really &£@#%$ me off is that so called "professionals" from IGN, SHOULD care about these things and give fair scores, but they rather jump on the 108060 hype train like everyone else. 

"We" = less than 10 million gamers. Over 200 million console and PC gamers don't have it and don't know it.

And should every game you already have or know be downgraded, too?
