If it's the same, why wouldn't it deserve the same praise it got before? You say it's the same, yet it's an improved version of a GOTY... If it's the same, yet improved, why shouldn't it get at least the same score? Did it get worse because the original came out a year ago?

Perfect scores again???

Have they even fixed the abysmal AI and stealth mechanics. Certainly doesn't seem like it, none of the reviews I've read point to these improvements, hell even last year hardly any critics mentioned how bad the AI and stealth were. I guess its a graphics/10 kinda score then. 

So a clearly superior version of the game should be getting lower scores compared to an inferior and less valueable version of the game? Explain please.

I wonder if those complaining about the "perfect" score also make that same argument when a game gets reviewed 5/5, or 5 stars, or any other top score like that. Certainly there's way more of those than 10/10s, but at the end of the day they mean exactly the same thing.

Perfect score simply means top class game or highest quality possible, just like every single award ever given to anything.

Because it's the same. We already have it and know it. If they would put it out next year again, the same thing, would that version again deserve the same metascore? And unfair to new games, if a port with little effort can breeze through the reviews like it's the second coming. It's laughable really, to me the release is the joke of the year. Sony must be laughing their asses off.

Besides, I already thought it was overrated last year as well. Like I said, I liked it, but I mean, come on .

oh the logic of some people.. a game that was initally a 95, gets improvements and they expect the score to go down.. lol

The game got a lot of high scores when it originally released last year. The game went up in quality with this remaster. Why should it score any lower?

It's not really fair to drop off the score just because it's the same version, which is also not true. It's the same game that was on the PS3 with improved everything in terms of technical performance, along with DLC included that in the end saves you $10 over buying the original. So credit where credit is due I think it deserves the same score.
