I guarantee you my data are safer on any given MS server than they'll ever store locally at most regular people places even on a NAS not connect to the web... Most people have zero clue how to efficiently protect their data and even if they do the cost of a truly efficient solution is way more expensive to implement that most people privacy is worth... Most have irrelevant lives...

If not for the fact that Snowden exposed their dirty dealings I'm sure they'd hand it over no questions asked. Now that it is exposed their business is hurting so they have to fight.

I agree, I don't trust MS, Google, or Apple. Not sure why anoyone would trust a mega corporation to begin with.
