Forums - Nintendo - Captain Toad is underestimated cuz of Super Mario 3D World

In a way, it looks like a phone game haha But it could have a lot of levels, and it's not that the Super Mario 3D (Land and World) games were more complex than the Toad one.

I don't think SM3DW was worth more than $40.

It's a minor project from the developers of Super Mario 3D World , so I don't see the problem.

Responding your question, since the game it's going to see a physical release, it should have a lot of content. In E3 was shown a little bit of it. The levels available in Super Mario 3D World didn't have bosses, other gameplay mechanics rather just walk, moving the camera and pressing swithces and the levels weren't developed that much. This logic works with Nintendo games, anyway.

It was always getting a physical release.

Where are the major projects anyways?

Hyrule Warriors, Bayonetta 2, Smash Bros, Captain Toad, Fatal Frame V, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Yoshi's Woolly World, Kirby's Rainbow Curse, Mario Maker, Splatoon, Mario Party 10, Star Fox, Devil's Third, Mario vs Donkey Kong, Zelda U

Minor-Major exclusives developed/co-developed by Nintendo scheduled to be released by the end of 2015.

I wouldn't call many of those games major projects.

Hence why I said minor-major but Hyrule Warriors, Bayonetta 2, Smash Bros, Splatoon, Star Fox, Xenoblade and Zelda I would consider major

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

I agree that this game wont do as good as super mario 3d world. Reason for that they probably think its an DLC, with the same looking game. People might think its like a mini arcade for it.

It could be easily my favorite Mario game, just because it focuses in platforming, but I see your point.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

It could be good but I don't like Toad.

?

You seem conflicted with your sig...

I meant I don't like his character. I don't think he'd be a very interesting main character. In Mario Kart he's my favourite though.

toad was the fastest character in mk n64:P

Star Fox we haven't seen anything from so that's unknowable, Hyrule Warriors is mid-tier at best same with splatoon, the rest I guess are major.
