If multiplayer was still free on PS4, that would be huge, but alas it isn't. So that minimizes the benefit it will bring to the console.
People are overhyping.


Fyi, I only have a PS4.

The 'damage' will be done by then though.

Seriously? I don't think Sony exclusive advertising really matters. The PS4 appeals to more people and it was gonna sell best on that platform anyhow.

I wish Sony and MS would stop buying exclusive deals like this as it doesn't benefit us consumers.

Agree.  I don't know about xbox one owners but for ps4 owners, this is the closest game to halo ps4 only owners will ever get.  More importantly, this is not a low budget halo wanna be game, there's a huge marketing budget behind the game.  Combine this with the white ps4 and we have all the recipes for a huge NPD.

I think it's a huge win for PS4, but still a big win for Xbox One too.

It's a game with a lot of hype behind it, and it's going to sell consoles.

I think MS is really trending behind on their strategy. Sony got deals and content for Destiny, Watch Dogs, AC Unity, Far Cry 4. Basically, all the new big titles. MS should start seeking similar approachs with other titles as they did with CoD, because that deal helped them a lot with 360 and they are just watching their trick being used against them and aren't doing anything to fight back. I don't understand. They have way more financial resources and are being moneyhatted by a much smaller company.

The above of course, is from a business perspective. From a consumer perspective, I would rather see these deals gone for good.



Bet with jetforcejiminy: PS4 will pass the Wii lifetime numbers.

I think Destiny will be massive. I think it might easily do 6m first week, it's going to push more PS4 software and hardware.

Also I cannot wait for my white PS4 :D

Huge win. Destiny will move more consoles than any exclusives (Barring maybe GT and Uncharted) could. If Sony is able to score GTAV marketing again, that'll be another big blow to MS.  It'll be a good start to the PS4 dominating this Holiday season

Amen! I wish all the bullshit like platforms exclusive content, timed exclusive DLC etc. would just die already.

Nope. As far as announced, all platforms will get the same content and the game will be advertised with Xbox One.
