Speak of the Devil. My WiiU shutdown in the middle of a firmware update thanks to a power outage. I was surprised when I turned it on and it's still working!

BTW how do you turn the auto update off? I wasn't planning on updating my firmware but after closing MK8 the update was already at 29%.
