15-20 Mio. is a good prediction. Wii-U will peak in 2015 and in 2016 a successor with better hardware is overdue. We have 8 Mio. now and maybe 10 by the end of 2014. The system already failed and there is no turnaround in sight.

Minimum 17m
It still can do max 30m
If something happen maybe more (but I do not believe).
The sooner we see a tablet-less version and / or price cut, the higher the number will be eventually. If Nintendo does nothing if will fail commercially.

Gamepadless version isn't happening. Their plan is to make games that utilize it more to show its value until they replace it I assume. I seriously don't see them sticking with the Wii U beyond 2017, probably replace it in 2016.
On a side-note does anyone know when the next quarterly investor meeting is? It's at the end of this month right?
The real FACT about MK8 is: WiiU was at 6M mark before MK8 was released and currently remains in that precise same mark, 2 months later aprox.. Only thing I can say is: DOOOOOOM

Well soon we should get at least shipped numbers from Nintendo I think.

The GamePad-less WiiU is going to sell like hotcakes just like the Kinectless Xbox One, eh?

Ouch! Watch the snake.
In the wilderness we go alone with our new knowledge and strength.
If it comes with a new tablet-less Wii-Sports HD and is marketed at casuals then yes it will. I still do not understand why they did not just repeat the Wii's enormously successful strategy and sold the dawn thing as a Wii HD with Wii Sports HD from day 1. Nintendoland what?
With such an ugly and oversized tablet, no AAA games at lauch and no real Wii-Sports replacement the system was guaranteed to fail, this is what everyone said back then and it came true. What did Iwata think, I still do not get it. It would have never been so easy to sell another 100 Mio. by doing the exact same thing again in HD but he managed to completely mess it up which was almost impossible to do.
