Links Crossbow Training sold 5 million copies.
If that shit can sell 5 mio., im pretty sure Hyrule Warriors will atleast get to 1 mio.

'That shit' came bundled with the Wii Zapper and it came out during the Wii's glory days..

Didn t it cost about $10 too?

if Hyrule Warriors is only $10 then it will sell plenty-  but I don t get putting Zelda characters in a Hyrule Warriors game will change the gameplay itself-  I ve never played a dynasty warriors game but wiping out armies of enemies like they were nothing does not excite me personally -  having a few Zelda skins thrown in doesn t change much -  but who knows maybe it will offer something different- I l read the reviews

Didn't this thread already happen. Like several times?

I think it will eventually hit 1m or more LT, because for one, the Warriors series is huge in Japan.

And for two, because Zelda is huge in the West.

Of course not. This is one of the many travesti and milking of franchise Nintendo has, or rather, wrongly chose to do.

It's too bad when they have so many other franchise up their sleeve that they could bring like F-Zero.

Nintendo is working with an outside party to make a second party spin-off to a beloved series. F-Zero is a terrible franchise for the moment because it has a very small fan base when Nintendo can only put out so much. I'm sure if the Wii U reaches a more comfortable position, the niche titles may come out in full force. Until then though, announcing something like F-Zero over a new Metroid would be an incredibly stupid move.

Nintendo facelifts can do wonders for Tecmo Koei franchises.

Let's see; it's Zelda and:
-with more accessible gameplay
-multiplayer coop
-Multiple playable characters
- Realistic, non-toon graphics
-Zelda "All stars" premise.
-Boobs.

I expect this will be a big hit. Minimum 1.5 million, expecting around 3 million or more.

I'd say 750k-1 million most of that coming from Japan where they love them musou games

Its a Mousou game with Link, if it didnt had Link in it the game would review on the 6.0 range and nobody would even remeber it exists, since it has Link in it it automatically gets at least a 9 from reviewers and ppl will buy the game.

To be fair...

I think Link is the least deciding factor here.

Why didn't you show me this before? *Runs to pre-order game*

Seriously though?  I doubt it'll reach a million.  Only because there are a lot less Zelda fans vs Mario fans in the Nintendo world.  Zelda has always been a "good" seller (Which would be amazing for most other games).   I'm just not sure if those people buying Mario Kart will translate into Zelda sales.  But I think it'll settle around 700k.

It will do one million without problem.

Probably a good score in japan (it's a musou after all, heh) and a correct score in Eu, a little less in Us.

5) The worst part of Musou games is quality, Nintendo won't let there be a low quality Zelda title, barring legal action.

Thank you for this.

I think this game has too much fanservice to bomb.

It certainly has a much wider appeal than actual Dynasty Warriors games because of the Zelda paintjob. It has the attention of Zelda fans, and we're not getting a real Wii U Zelda game in a while.

I'd say 700k is guaranteed, and I believe it's going to sell over a million.
For some reason there seems to be a lot of hype surrounding this game... actually, that reason is because they're promoting it really well. I'm not a big fan of Dynasty Warriors, but for some reason they're making Hyrule Warriors look really good.

True. It wont only be DW with a Zelda skin. Its kind of a celebration of both franchises.

What leads to you to believe the contrary? All bits of gameplay they've released points to this.
