Exactly.   If people want Dunsparce to be competively viable, he needs a regular evolution, and that needs a Mega Evolution.

If Dunsparce got an evolution then a Mega, many fans would be very, very excited.

ok I never thought it that way, thanks, but again, there are pokemon that were good b4 the megas, and now there not as good because they dont have megas, like flygon and salamance

Metagross is one of the most popular non legendary Pokemon in Hoenn not surprised he got a mega and he needed it too. He's not nearly as good as he was back in the 3rd and 4th gen, hes not even OU anymore.

Also you don't even know how much the stats are boosted yet seems pretty premature to immediately call it OP when we don't even know how much each stat gets buffed.

Dunsparce needs a normal evolution imo.

Being viable only because you have a Mega is a bit stupid.

Ampharos for example is still pretty good without a mega evolution, but with the mega it also gets the dragon type.

Thats a pretty good strategical option.

I'm fine with Mega Metagross, hopefully stats won't get a very big boost, but as long as Spinda and Luvdisc get a Mega and become actually usable
