Not all clocks use the same interval measurement for 1 second. The difference is usually very tiny, but on a long enough timeline, the differences become ridiculously apparent. My PS2 especially gets de-synched very fast, usually by a full 2 seconds per day.

 i didnt check the Wii clock for about 2 weeks and time was of by almost 17 min i was like WTH! i dont know why it keeps doing it but i stoped reseting it

Soriku, that happens with all clock. There are clocks that use vibrating piece of quartz to measure seconds. Certain number of vibrations = a second. Or something like that.

There are different ways to measure a second, not just quartz, there are atomic clocks too (those are the most precise I think). There are several factors that can affect the precision of a clock.
