Well it would be nice to see a discount (not sure why they can't implement it) but, well, maybe I'm not the one this remake is for after all.

Well they are 1st place they can do whatever they want.

Other than digital copies I dont think there is much of a feasable way to do this(though they could potentially make some money on a disk mail in offer). The new DLC is cross buy which is nice of them.

seems like a discounted upgrade would be appropriate...

...but they did knocked $10 off the price and are including $25 bucks in DLC that i personally didn't buy. for me that makes it a $25 upgrade which for the extra effort seems worth it to me. i can totally see why upgrading @ $50 wouldn't be something a lot of people wouldn't want to do but it is worth it to me.

Makes sense considering its a cash grab so giving a discount for an upgrade would be counter intuitive noe wouldn't it?

Hmm... how much is all the DLC worth? I have the game on PS3 and I was hoping for the upgrade discount. I haven't bought any of the DLC for the PS3 version but I am interested in the DLC, just not re-buying the game.

Dont see the reason why there should be a discount or why people think they are entitled for a discount if they already purchased the original...
