Nah, they wouldn't have been able to overcome the PS's appeal over the Xbox in EU or Japan.  I will concede that US would be a MUCH closer race, but EU and Japan still would have been lost causes for the One.  Mainly because the One wouldn't have the 360's advantages, i.e. launching a year early in Japan and a year and a half early in EU, while also being much cheaper than the PS3.

You would look kinda silly if you bumped it considering VGC undertracked NA by over 70k i can only imagine how far off they are with the rest of the world. Kinda mind boggling that they could have potentialy undertracked the the PS4 by nearly how much the XBO sold in NA its strongrst region.....

Technically they were posted. Its just that noone really knew what "more than double" meant for Xbox One. When someone said MS didn't get that from NPD people automatically went with "its gotta be lower than 154k!!" So as I see it, close to 200k is pretty good.

And I agree that close to 200K isn't too bad, especially when the thing doesn't have to outsell the PS4 to be considered "healthy".

I don't recall any high amounts of traffic supporting your claims of a universal prediction. It was a select few (as per usual). Furthermore, if you have to count two machines closing a gap on one, the single machine must be doing something right (it was equally as ridiculous when Xbox and PlayStation fans would ban together for a similar cause when it was the 360+PS3).


its not ridiculous at all. ps4 came out of the gate selling great, and people predicted SECOND COMING OF THE PS2. my thread was a response to that. why is that so difficult for people to understand? ps4 is doing bette, yes we know that, but the argument is whether or not its going to get 50%+ marketshare? so far this year, it has, and my thread was saying that the gap is closing, and its going to dip. THATS the discussion. its not about downplaying PS4, its about making a prediction based on what we see going on in the industry. 

and youre kind of making my point saying a lot of people didnt agree with me. most people didnt, and they said WAIT FOR NPD, its going to have 50%+. well, it didnt, just like i said.

its not xb1 is at least 154 by yesterdays announcment

That was only from an internal sales survey at Microsoft, had nothing to do with NPD according to twitter.

Please do, I look forward to you explaining how the PS4 is declining despite not only outselling its competition but increasing its weekly sales rate despite no signifcant new games and no price cut.
