That wasn't from NPD, came from Sony PR

Whose info is based on the NPD data. Sony PR can't just go claiming they are first if it weren't true you know? NPD never really just comes out and says this console won or didnt win anymore. If they want the money to keep coming in from certain clients, they have to always remain neutral, to at least allow said clients put their own PR spin on the data. Those clients pay the NPD for their services, not us.
