I was joking, but honestly after listening to one panel with Cerny interviewing Yoshida, one conference with Cerny talking, and the recent Cerny and House panel at Develop conference, the ties between the three are very strong, with Cerny calling them "The 3 Musketeers". If the PS5 will be a conventional console, not some streaming device or the like, I'm 99% sure Cerny will be at the helm. We are still probably around a year before a PS4 "post mortem" when serious work on the PS5 will start.

And even though Cerny was working on both the Vita and PS4, he was still working as a consultant  on various Sony games in the meantime.

Uhhhh... it's not an indie game if the developer is not working independently of a publisher...

Sure, I mean I don't think anyone questions the Fast developers as being indie even though they pretty much exclusively develop for Nintendo systems.  What makes this not indie is it's funded by a first party publisher.  But then again like some said indie doesn't have an exact definition like it once did.

Indie does have an exact definition, except when people use the term to make their projects sound hipper than they actually are.
